Yeah, 150 is about the high side of what I expected from him. Hopefully at least 100 at minimum, but we’ll have to see how it goes.

Still hoping the Angels can sign Ryu or Keuchel but the real growth from this team will have to come from their core guys. We already saw a glimpse of what Ohtani the pitcher can be during his rookie season. Roster may not have a true ace as we look at things today, but Ohtani clearly has the stuff of an ace in the making. Gonna be great to see him back on the mound again

There is no doubt that if he returns to health, he can be a dominant starting pitcher - one of the best in baseball.

Sign Ryu or Keuchel, and if Ohtani and Canning are healthy, and Bundy/Heaney/Teheran are merely average, this is a great squad.

Makes some sense, if they’d rather have him with innings available in August, September, and October, rather than risk him hitting a limit before then.
