Absolutely. I hate them more than the Skanks or Red Sox. I'm sure most Angels' fans would agree with me. The Astros are assholes, and I look down on them more than I do the Rangers or A's.

I’d bet a lot of money if you put up a poll here the Astros aren’t even in the top three most hated teams to the Angels.

True for me. When we’re not playing them, I think Altuve is awesome. I hate the Yankees with the Patriots more than any other teams in any sport.

After that it’s a drop off. But generally speaking, the Red Sox would be up there. Honestly, in order of division rivals I hate the most, I probably hate all three of the others more than the Astros right now.

Neanderthals were intelligent enough to make tools out of bones and wood and antlers. They even created a type of glue called pitch to attach tips to spears.

Because of your verbiage and specific sentences, I believe I read the exact article you pulled this from on Live Science.

The premise is still debatable because many anthropologists believe it wasn't so much intelligence as it was a survival instinct. I tend to agree and don't equate evolution with intelligence. If you die or fail enough you will generally evolve to a level making adjustments for the sake of survival.....more necessity than intelligence.

Most people don’t know about pitch so I’m glad you brought it up! Neanderthals collected bark from birch trees which they then had to heat up by covering it with burning embers or burying it below a fire where they must’ve constructed some sort of container to collect the tar. Homo sapiens would not master this technique for another 700,000 years.

Ok, I did not see the Nats bats coming out so hot. Especially against Cole. Either he’s off or they did a remarkable job staying hungry with a week off. Kudos to them.

Soto in his postgame comments said Cole was throwing fastballs most of the time and he got a hold of one (speaking about the home run). He said he knew it was gone immediately. He said he was timing his swing anticipating the fastball.

Cole should change his approach re: Soto next time.
