2 out 3 run homer in the 6th. Earlier that inning someone got on on what was initially scored an error, but later changed to a hit.

When was the last time, if ever, that Astros ownership signed someone for, or traded for someone owed, at least $100 million total?

It will be very telling by 2 years from now.   Verlander is 36, Greinke is 35, and Cole/Miley are soon FAs.

If they win a World Series title this season it will all be worth it. Crazy that they jumped into our division and went from the sh*t house to the penthouse. If they win it all this season they’ll have AL West bragging rights until we win another championship.

the Astros have been on a really nice run the last 3 years. if it lasts another 2 or 3 years, they'll be fine. can they sustain beyond that? offensively, yes, they have the talent. who knows what their pitching will be like.

I applaud them for going for it now. I would too if I were them.
