Can we please get out of the AL West

I would totally welcome a complete MLB realignment. Revamp everything. DH for both leagues and somehow put the Dodgers, Angels, Padres, Giants, A’s and Mariners together in the same division.

It's not like the Angels are the second best team in the AL, stuck in a perpetual wild card.  The Angels would have to jump 3 teams just to get one of the two wildcard spots.

Having the Astros in the AL West is the only thing saving the Angels from complete embarrassment.

Can you imagine if the Angels won the division with a sub-.500 record?

Then being swept by the wild card team?

Didn't hear many complaints when the Astros were losing 110 games per year.  Maybe the Angels should focus on building a better team around the best player in baseball so it wouldn't matter who else was in their division.

I remember when the Astros moved to the AL West and some people on the board (not Lou specifically) were acting like that meant another 12-15 wins a year because the Angels would dominate the season series for years to come.

Realignment doesn't fix any issues while improving the team and playing better would.

I remember a thread specifically welcoming the Houston Astros to the AL West. We were adding up the additional wins. Good times.

Until we start playing better the division really make little difference. 
Hou was shit when they first arrived even though i agree that never made any sense just to give Ari the NL they wanted. 
We need to take care of winning more games before we complain about hou
