I understand playing the numbers but Sosh seems obsessed with matchups. I’m old school. If a pitcher looks good, leave him in until signs of trouble. 

Today good example. Alvarez was dialed in. He’s a known quantity at the moment. Why bring in an unknown? Especially CB who has proven time and again he can’t handle end of game pressure. Alvarez should have been left in.
