JMF can play multilpe positions. Valbuena is gone next year, Pujols DH next year. So we actually need Thaiss, and I also believe he's legit. Trading him right now would be an epic mistake.

Yeah I'm 50/50 with Thaiss. I hope he comes up as his swing has added loft to it and he's got the strength to club some HR's. 

That said, 1B are easily replaced IMO. Plus we got Jared Walsh, JMF, Pujols, Ohtani (DH).

Interesting.  I liked Thaiss, hopefully the Angels get something good in return if a trade is happening.

I don't know what we have going on, but I just want a better, deeper team with fewer holes in the line up.  If Thiass can be that guy great, if he can get us someone with a little bit of club control that will help us, fantastic.

·         RHP Jaime Barria – Recalled from Salt Lake

·         INF Jefry Marte – Placed on 10-day DL with a left wrist sprain (no retro)

·         INF David Fletcher – Selected to Major League roster

·         RHP Blake Wood – Transferred to 60-day DL

It makes sense.  Fletcher has spent a lot of time in AAA.  To have Thaiss and Ward promoted to AAA and then promoted to the majors would be pretty bad.
