The Temporarily Inactive List is for minor league players only.

With JMF looking like a legit major league hitter along with Marte, Valbuena and Pujols, 1st base can be considered a "logjam" and make Matt Thaiss expendable. I do wish he were our every day 1st baseman over everyone mentioned earlier with JMF as our super utility infielder.
