I am referring to his struggles as a pitcher, not injury.  You guys want to dump him when he is finally healthy.

In all fairness, he's been lousy early on this season. I sure hope he gets it together and pitches like he's done in the past

He did apologize, and while that was nice, it didn't *not take away* a perfect game Armando definitely earned.

Don't worry about it, I'm not gonna argue, I'm sure umpiring is a tough job. What's tough is my dad umpired in the same kind of leagues you did, Pony, even High School,  and time after time he tells me when watching games "why is that umpire right there? He should be *here* or *here*" and I'm always like...you know what pops? You're right. And I know you're not going to be in a PERFECT position 100% of the time but these are supposed to be the best and dagnabbit it's frustrating.

But come on. Referring to the Armando game, as an umpire team, you GOT to go to Joyce at that moment, say yeah you dropped the ball, then you overturn the call to get it RIGHT. That's all I'm saying.

Yup, I told Lou, I can't even make that strong a case because these guys are supposed to be the best.

And as far as umpiring, it's definitely a job I'm going to recommend to my kids. It has been great money through HS and college with flexible hours. Wouldn't trade it for the world.

I am willing to bet my the end of the season you will be having second thoughts on letting him walk.

I mean, It'll depend on his market. I'm not a fan of them locking him up long-term for a hefty price considering his injury history. He just isn't an arm you can rely on due to the aforementioned injury concerns
