you forgot to mention that the critics still think all of the angels troubles are the fault of just one single solitary person.

a completely shattered glass cup that is never ever more than half full.

Well, when the one person is the owner, it has a bit of a trickle down effect. That's my one, single solitary person.

The hiring of Dipoto, the ridiculous extension of Scioscia, the signings of Albert and Hambone. Believe he oversaw the release of Eddie Bane, the guy who recommended drafting Mike Trout. Our farm system has never been the same.

Arte shoulda stuck to desert billboards.

while there are some here who share your pov, there are many who think of someone different than the owner for this.

Who would be more responsible than Arte?   Jerry?  The guy with no qualifications to be GM and was still hired by Arte?  Mike Scioscia?  Terrible postseason record and given a 10 year contract extension by Arte?

Good list, but you forgot when Arte literally held a gun to Reagins head demanding Vernon Wells to be traded here.   Oh, and refusing an additional year to get Beltre.  And giving Albert and Scioscia a lifetime contract, but then he only gives Trout 6 years.  Seriously what a fucking dumbass.

this is revisionist bs, jerry had no qualifications to be a GM? he had/has enormous qualifications to be a GM, whether we think he is a good one or not is perfectly fine to debate, but at least keep the conversation above the board.

Once again the Angels miss the boat.

Cubs get better.  Angels get their cast off.

And some of you wonder why we don't come around that often anymore.

Nobody wondered. Nobody cared. No matter who leaves this board, they won't be missed, and everything will go on as if nothing happened.

I stopped taking Brian seriously when he boycotted the team because of the manager.
