I hope it works.

Can we please now acquire/draft/sign pitchers who will stay healthy enough ultimately?

It seems like they didn't have a plan for him other than just to let him go until his arm fell off.  Too many innings this year.  He's toast, never gonna see him do anything special again.

these are both pretty awesome, in their own way.

Ramirez can come back early next year, if the Richards cure works. Richards was unlucky when came back and a new injury, nerve damage but his elbow was fine.

Right, and we can hope that happens, but the platelet injection has been mixed in success before, and even if he does come into ST healthy, I would think it would be best to treat his '18 workload with caution. Counting on him for 20-25 starts would be a bit presumptuous - we were lucky we got that out of him this year considering how he hadn't started since 2011.

When he first left the game with an injury what did the Angels say regarding his injury? It always starts with something that may cause him to miss one start and morphs into see him in 2 years.

They were pretty mum - they never really painted it as a day-to-day short term thing. To me, I pretty much assumed their silence meant it was going to be severe.

i think we're all for this, buddy, but how do you go about evaluating someone for "won't get a serious arm injury in the future."?
