Right, though Whiten also had 12 RBI in a game once.

It's Jim Bottomley, an often overlooked player. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame posthumously by the Veterans committee.

No quiz here...just a couple of interesting finds while looking through some old pictures..

Who remembers this? I went. A few buddies and I had one of our parents drop us off. They ran buses from the stadium to Disneyland after the game. In those days you could see the "Matterhorn" from the Big A parking lot. There was really nothing between the two back then. If you wanted to do this today, what would it cost?
