Chargers look to be moving to LA in 2017 - play in ANA?

The new Inglewood stadium isn't going to be built until 2019.

 

Could Anaheim be where the Chargers play until them?

Big mistake by the Chargers and the NFL. 

Chargers have no fan base in LA, and no matter how much they share costs at the new stadium, they will still be a tennant of Kroenke and be in the shadow of the Rams.

If they can find a way to win when the Rams aren't, that could change quickly.

Aren't they going to eventually share the stadium being built for the Lambs?  Like Doc, I'd sooner follow the Chargers than the other LA team -- but my favorite team is already in the NFC.

just like the fact that there are no halo fans in socal.  Not saying it would happen overnight, but there is plenty of market share to support them.  

There are 3 million people in the SD metro and 20 million in the LA metro.

Do you guys think they will re-brand the team completely since they are so hated here and have no fan base? Not sure this would work but a new team name but be better than keeping the Chargers.

I'm a Chargers fan, and it breaks my heart that they'd leave San Diego. That city loves and supports that team, always has. It's a shame the Padres were built this beautiful Mecca for baseball and no room has been made for the Chargers.

I'll be a fan of both teams but if the Chargers move to O.C. I'll definitely go to those games before I go to Inglewood to see the Rams.

Everything I read said the Chargers were considering playing in the rather cozy Stubhub center for the two seasons rather than being the 3rd team in the Colosseum.

The Stub Hub idea is ridiculous, only 27K capacity.   This isn't the 1960s AFL, when the Chargers played at 30k capacity Balboa Stadium.

Angel Stadium should never, eeeever again host an NFL franchise.

think economically it's easier to justifier a mlb stadium over an nfl stadium.  81 home games vs 8 (padres and chargers so i'd never expect more than that).
