Haley should run for President. If managed properly she could take the nomination from Trump, he never was a Republican and has burned every bridge in the party. They've gotten everything they could out of him by just besting the Clinton machine but now he's a liability and likely going to lose them seats in the house and Senate.

He's not a favorite for the 2020 re-election simply because the Democrats out number the Republicans and this upcoming election they are not sitting home thinking their candidate is a shoe in. 

Haley would set the Democrats on their ear. A woman from the Republican party that scorned Trump and was once a Governor and US Ambassador (Senate approval 96-4) is a pretty solid reputation with the ability to speak articulately in public without sounding like a stuttering 5th grader and would get the message out that could sway some votes from moderate Democrats.

Democrats will have to bow to her background as being a minority of Asian decent and her parents intellectual backgrounds in teaching at both higher education and developmental years. Haley gas a long career working with woman's groups and experience working from the ground level up in politics, starting at the local level then capturing a House seat from the longest serving incumbant, then went on to Governor of South Carolina. She even appointed a democratic as her Lieutenant Governor so she knows how to cross party lines.

The Democrats would have to make this an intellectual fight on, you guessed it, Abortion, Gay Rights, and Immigration. It's not like those three were not on their agenda all along. Haley will be both prepared and ready for those arguments, unlike President Twitterdick, and will throw in a few Y'all's just to keep the Southerners listening.

I wouldn't hesitate at all to checkmark her name in the primary and general election.
