I didn't know but I did just rewatch Game 6 & 7. That was fun. A few thoughts came to mind as I watched. 1. The Angels are the last team from the AL West to have won a World Series Championship. 2. Fun to see some old names I barely remembered in Brad Fullmer, Orlando Palmiero, & Tim Worrell, Tom Goodwin for SF. 3. The last fly out off Kenny Lofton's bat , which when I originally watched scared me at 1st when I was at the Game until I saw Erstad settle under it, still makes me laugh and smile with joy. I'm glad I got to see the Angels win at least 1 World Series. Sure would be nice if we could get another one. I'll be honest. Watching some of my Dodger friends watch these games with nerves & intensity makes me jealous.

I will be tuning in to the Dodgers flagship station on Monday after they lose this series.   Hell, I will turn on the post game show if they lose tonight.   I want to hear David Vasseigh, Fred Roggin, and Leanne Tweeden complain about correct replay calls that don't matter, and media bias.  Before that,  I want to see tv cameras isolate the long faces on Tommy Lasorda and Magic Johnson as the series comes to a close.

I live in NH so I have no stake in this. That said, I hope the Dodgers collectively sit in the outfield in Arlington while Hammy tosses them balls.

On the rooting for the Dodgers debate, I'll admit to being slightly conflicted. I really like some of their players - like Kershaw and Hill and Kendrick. Plus I like Dave Roberts and there is the Vin Scully factor too. If they were 'Team X' instead of the Dodgers I would really want them to win. But I need to keep reminding myself that they are the Dodgers and them being the champions of anything wouldn't be much fun. They're still far from the highest in my 'most hated team' rankings though.
