I think the narrative from reasonable people (not partisan asshats) revolves around the "elite" never having to be accountable while the average joe is. In that sense they should be held accountable too.

Again, no reasonable person expected her to be indicted. And maybe she shouldn't be.

But, Americans should be pissed.

Says the guy supporting Trump... lol

Hillary is terrible.  Trump is 100x worse.

Trump isn't any better in terms of character or integrity.

All I said is it's yet another example of the decline of society.

People don't care about character or integrity, therefore the media doesn't care, and as a result our elected officials are scumbags.

Yeah.  All legal experts said there is no precedent for criminal charges in this case and there haven't been in similar cases.  Plus I don't think they want to send half of the state department and probably countless other former high ranking officials to jail.

This has sadly happened for decades, how many senators and congressmen have kids that get away with DUIs and drug possession and even worse...

Then again, our government is reckless and careless more than they aren't.  Think about the Iraq war, it was based on "bad intelligence."  Shouldn't the intelligence officers and high ranking officials that turned that intelligence into a multi billion dollar war be held accountable?

Or Gov Jerry Brown who gets a bill to appropriate funds for some "social" issue just so he can take funds from the same program and move them elsewhere essentially leaving the funding the same.

I could go on and on.  Our government is pathetic, and all their posturing and bitching is just as pathetic.

Something something Chappiquidick. Or however you spell it.

Right.

Years ago things like that ruined careers, or at least Presidential aspirations.

Not any more.

Try "trillion".

The cost of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars to date has been estimated to be about $4 trillion, and will probably end up costing $6 trillion.

Just curious -- why isn't everyone also demanding that Collin Powell and Condolezza be thrown in jail as well since the investigation found that they did the same thing and were also careless with classified information?

Do you know for a fact that either of them sent out over 100 classified emails ? (then blatantly lie about it)

Do you know for a fact that they used several devices to send highly classified  emails?

Do you know for a fact that they did so while in hostile territories?

Did they withhold evidence when it was requested?

Hope that helps.

Republicans would have been better off just letting Tuesday's Press Conference stand on its own - plenty of ammunition there.  Comey spent most of that time politically indicting her, as opposed to the hearing today, where he spent most of the time defending his decision. Nothing too damaging was revealed. Democrats get to muddy the waters by using Comey's words as a defense whenever the email scandal comes up. Not to say that this isn't a sore subject - I suspect her poll numbers are going to take a hit.
