Breaking News: Angels sign Ted Williams

The Angels GM, Billy Eppler, a long time believer in cryogenics announced today that the Angels are thawing out Ted Williams to play left field in 2016.  "Ted's head was not the only thing frozen," said Eppler.   "His swing, stance and athletic prowess were frozen and now it's just a matter of thawing out."

 

Eppler said he has been working on this for a while and finally agreed with the Williams' family on a one year agreement.  "Ted could fall out of his frozen crypt and still hit .300" said Eppler.  The thawing out period will be to tighten up Ted's defense, which could be expected to be a little rusty.  

 

Angels fans have been ecstatic over the news, because Ted can assist Albert in retirement planning, but still be a productive MOTO slugger.

The sad reality is that the frozen head of ted williams would still be our best option in terms of a lefty hitting left fielder. AND hes 100 years old...meanwhile eppler is sleeping like a baby

Williams always had a great eye and walked a ton. Imagine how much harder it would be for pitchers today, to hit the zone of only his head. Sosh would still hit him behind pujols though, we all know it
