  1. What's everyone worried about? We don't come back from 1-0 games. We have them right where we want them.
  2. He gets an extra $500k to play on a contender in SoCal for 1 month. WTF is the decision??
  3. It's not like he has to uproot his life. It's a month of staying in hotels anyway. Then he can do whatever he wants. Come on man..
  4. His 2nd half last year? He only played in the 2nd half and he was terrible. His big chance was in August last year and he struck out 16 times in 39 AB's with a .205 avg. Escobar is not our problem right now. Move Nava to 1st and DH Pujols. We need offense.
  5. Let's leave Escobar where he is and not F with the only good thing happening offensively. Let's put Nava at 1st base and keep Gentry in LF and send Cron and Choi down. Cron responds well to that. Pujols will find his way at DH. Cowart is not the answer..
  6. The only thing laughable is that you think people can't look at his major league stats since 2007, and include this year's ST, and make up their own minds.
  7. An everyday 3rd baseman who was the second best offensive player on the Nationals last year and hasn't struck out in 19 games this Spring and is batting .456/.500/.561/1.061 for a guy who would give us 1 or 2 innings every 3 games? The fan obsession with potential over reality in baseball is bizarre.
  8. Mahle is wound tight. I hope he makes the roster.
  9. I think it's Zelasko.. That's funny, I met Van Earl Wright at the same game.
  10. Yeah I'm sure Gentry will and for some reason Choi seems a lock. I guess he's one too many OF's with Ortega there too.
  11. He knows just what it takes to make the pros.. He's got Betty Torreyes..
  12. Cunningham? I would think Marte, Choi, Navarro or Ortega would be next. Or do they have to release him if they send him down?
  13. How does that even work? I suspect they are trying very, very hard while on the field.
  14. All good stuff. I have no problem thoroughly vetting him, but I think he's been a disappointment so far.
  15. Marte's SO's aren't too promising either but his .973 OPS shows he should earn the spot over Choi at this point.
