Will be interesting to see what Rams and Chargers attendance will be before the move.

 

Glad to see that all of the possible moves won't be approved. For LA to go from no team to three makes no sense.

First round of votes was 20-12 in favor of Rans/TBD in Inglewood – short of the required 24. LA committee now meeting with Spanos and Davis.

 

Apparently the Chargers can't side with Kroenke or it would violate the Carson plan.

 

Also, some of the other votes could swing with incentives, much like our government.  For example the NFL agrees to share some of the relocation fee with X team and now they are willing to go for Inglewood or Carson.

Surely at this point the Rams are coming home. If they got 20 votes without a firm second team, then they will have enough of a voting bloc to prevent anything else happening. Rams/Chargers must surely be extremely strong favorite right now.

Inglewood stadium has the "wow" factor the league is looking for, according to NFL network folks. That means hosting the Super Bowl. Will also include a room where they can hold the yearly draft.

NFL network reporting that the Rams will probably play in the Colisseum in the interim. Rose Bowl apparently has no interest in hosting an NFL team.

Yeah they turned the NFL down a couple years ago when these talks started.  Not sure why.

 

Maybe because of the parking situation.  Talk about a stadium that is a huge pain in the ass to get in and out of.

So the NFL is coming back to LA.

My guess is that the Chargers work with Kroenke over the next few weeks and officially move to LA for the 2016-17 season as well.  Imagine playing in a city as a lame duck.  Already nobody goes to their games.

That's pretty standard. KC is pricey and having gone to SD this year it was similar.
