LAT: Rams & Chargers coming to LA - Kroenke's Inglewood Stadium Proposal

First round of votes was 20-12 in favor of Rans/TBD in Inglewood – short of the required 24. LA committee now meeting with Spanos and Davis.

Apparently the Chargers can't side with Kroenke or it would violate the Carson plan.

Also, some of the other votes could swing with incentives, much like our government.  For example the NFL agrees to share some of the relocation fee with X team and now they are willing to go for Inglewood or Carson.

Billionaires doing their thing...

Deal is likely that the NFL will give a portion of the relocation fees for the Rams/Chargers to Oakland to build a new stadium in Oakland.

i'd be perfectly okay with this.

just haven't seen the logic behind having two rival teams in the same division sharing the same city and same stadium.

Surely at this point the Rams are coming home. If they got 20 votes without a firm second team, then they will have enough of a voting bloc to prevent anything else happening. Rams/Chargers must surely be extremely strong favorite right now.

They should squeeze a billion from Kroenke for moving the Rams.  Build the stadium for the Chargers.

Then squeeze a billion from the Raiders and move them to England.

I've confirmed #Raiders agreed to exit "exclusive partnership" with #Chargers. It's #Rams and #Chargers.

The #Rams back to L.A. is done. Wherhe the #Chargers join them now or later only question

First guy is Yahoo NFL writer, the guy with the typo is LA Daily News.

Sounds like the #Raiders have bowed out. It's #Rams and #Chargers, with details and timing being worked out. In Inglewood

When the #Chargers get the option of moving to LA... it does create a window for the city of San Diego to potentially hold onto their team.

BREAKING: NFL owners approve the Rams moving to Inglewood, according to a person who witnessed the vote. Chargers have option to join them.

So the NFL is coming back to LA.

I can hardly wait to see how much tickets are going to cost. Thought I heard recently that the average ticket price for a game is north of $100.

That's pretty standard. KC is pricey and having gone to SD this year it was similar.

Moderate seats range in that ballpark.
