With the season all but over, Grant needs to be run out to 2b every day, Cowart needs to stay at 3B, Perez needs to be the #1 catcher.  Kubitza needs to be called up to play LF.

I want to see Heaney and Tropeano go the rest of the season as well.  Leave Shoe in Triple A.

 

We need to evaluate for next year, not run retreads out.

In all seriousness though, if that's a bad injury then it's a really concerning development. Our 2B options are down to, well, Ryan Jackson. Cowart has played a little SS in the minors (very badly) so they could try to stick him there and move Aybar to 2B...but that also seems like a really bad idea. We might need to dumpster dive for a 2B.

When they say "discomfort", it usually means thee or four weeks.

 

If it were like, "twisted knee", he'd be back in a few days.
