no because 8 starts ago he pitched 7 innings of no run ball against the mighty padres which is why his era is so low.

 

his last 5 starts he's 0-3 with a 4.67 era.  see what i mean?  i can skew the stats to my favor also

Shoe is definitely struggling more than he did last year. Although I think the only reason anyone would question his spot in the rotation is when trying to figure out who gets sent down when weaver gets back. Heaney has been great so far.

You guys realize Trout's OPS+ through his age 23 season is tied for third place all time, right? Just barely behind a guy named Cobb, and tied with a guy named Stan Musial.

We are watching a guy who hasn't done what even inner circle hall of farmers have managed to do at this point in their careers.

Hector Santiago has a good chance of replacing Sunday starter Sonny Gray in ASG. Kazmir, Buchholz both hurt. Kluber also pitching Sunday

I have to edit this to say that I am the last person who expected anything close to how well Hector has pitched this year. I've complained about his mechanics and turning his head from the target prior to release.

I sure hope he continues to show I know squat.
