It's really annoying how the umpires no longer give warnings before ejections anymore. Almost as bad as how NBC pressured the IAAF into disqualifying sprinters after any false start without warning so that races would be a predictable length to make scheduling TV commercials easier.

The Angels do use the shift, albeit poorly in many cases. In one game last year Weaver was seen chewing out Scioscia in the dugout when Sosh called for extreme shifts and players bunted against him successfully three consecutive times.

So I've been watching but just now getting to the thread. Players have not been affected by media/front office drama as expected. Sure is nice to have a lead early.

This is the perfect game for Cron. They are up 6-0. He doesn't have to press and he can get some good ABs to get comfortable.

That wasn't a bad AB. 2B was shading him there. Just missed the infield single.

I remembered that incorrectly. It was three hits that would have been routine outs with normal player positioning, including a successful bunt for a hit (and another nearly successful attempt)

He was a slap hitting shortstop who briefly played for Scioscia. My guess is no. I wouldn't be surprised if Scioscia gets another 10 year extension and Aybar becomes third base coach, with similar results.

Well, there's one thing we can say with certainty...DiSar likely never looked at the scouting reports. Nobody on the staff coaches with more "feel" than him I bet

Did he even play for Scioscia?  I remember him on the team for a long time through the nineties, but don't remember when he retired.
