Question to the Angels Fanbase?

i think from a franchise perspective you have to look at team achievements first, then players.. including firsts.
Trout is the best player in the game today, but obviously team division, league, and WS championships would be first.. i might put Baylors MVP and Salmons ROY ahead of Trouts just for historical relevance.
I guess with all that i would put in in the top 10, but not the top 5.
Thats not taking anything away from Trout at all, but i still care more about the name of the front than the back even if he is the best in the game.

1. First World Series 2002

2. First American League Pennant 2002

3. First Division Title 1979

After the first 3, I would think individual accomplishments:

In no particular order.

Alex Johnson (First batting title) 1970

MVP  Baylor (79), Guerrero (04), Trout (14)

ROY  Salmon (93), Trout (12)

Go Halos!!

2009 ALDS. Finally handing it to the Chowds was so rewarding. Seeing Papelbon's face in the dugout, and Vlad coming through. The Angels home crowd was deafening that series. It was over 20 years of frustrations being taken out on that franchise in one series.

Ryan's no hitters are ranking low because it appears most of this fan base is younger.

In my opinion Ryan was bigger in life and in baseball than Trout, but Trout is current.

383 k's is amazing. The four no hitters including two in the same season, are incredible.

But this is like comparing Jurrasic Park with Gone with the Wind I guess.

As much as i like the catch, cycle etc, if those rank up with top 50 moments in this teams history, thats pretty sad. Id say his mvp probably want any more special than vlad or baylor (though good point wpever mentioned he was home grown), but maybe if you tie in the season as a whole...that he was also the all star game mvp, and led the league in runs and rbi..which is very rare (especially for a guy batting 2cd)

And though ROY is cool, i think just his 2012 in general is bigger. Not just how good he was, but the buzz he created around baseball
