At the very beginning you can see his shadow. No cable or harness.

There is also an editing cut between when you see his shadow and when he first jumps. It's reasonable to assume he clips in.

There is also a noise on his next to last landing that sounds like metal to metal like a caribeaner clicking against a harness.
