Sorry but I don't share your thinking Eric. The chances of the results continuing the way they have for the Angels are not high. If what you say were true, baseball organizations would follow this blueprint, but they don't.

 

You logic is grossly flawed. No team plans on losing two starting pitchers so no team voluntarily adopts a pitcher by committee plan. However for the few starts that Richards is missing, the additional arms from the September call ups do cover those innings and will keep the Angels afloat rather than bankrupting an already depleted farm system.

 

But go ahead and croak doom. When the season is over you can then thump your chest and say you were right.

 

Or slink away when you are not.

We are 2-0 on Richards rotation turn. Wilson struggling has nothing to do with a new starter. CJ is not losing his spot.

Such a tremendous mistake not picking up a SP at some point. We are down to 3 pitchers because CJ is so bad and it was asking too much to expect Rasmus to hold a spot in the rotation.
