Calhoun RF

Trout CF

Aybar SS (best hitter on the team right now)

Pujols DH (OPS 300 points higher as DH)

Kendrick 2B

Iannetta C

Freese/Beckham 3B

Navarro 1B

Cowgill LF

8-9-1-2-3-4 is left/right/left/right/switch/right

When Hamilton returns, bat him 5th or 6th.

Aybar is the best hitter on the team.

Never expected that to be a true statement.

I have an AC joint issue as well and I can tell you it is not something that is healed by a cortisone shot.  I am no longer baffled at the weak hits Hamilton has produced this season....you have no strength because of no joint support due to intense pain.

He will not be productive for 2014 if it is severe......maybe next year.

Cowgill is better than the current Josh Hamilton, sadly.

When I heard this news on the radio this morning I thought to myself, who would you rather have at the plate with 2 outs in the 9th , a runner on 2nd, down by a run in a critical game: Hamilton or Cowgill?

This injury might make our team better.
