Ranger fans just can't wait....

and they didn't boo him at the time. what's your point?

It followed shortly thereafter. It's not shocking.

You guys are fickle, front-running, hollow, unknowledgeable opportunists when it comes to being baseball fans.

That's alright, though, you're from a football city. We expect such emptiness from you when it comes to baseball. You deliver.

angel stadium sees a mass exodus in the 7th inning every time the angels are losing and halos heaven is run by REV HALOFAN. maybe angelswin.com is the exception when it comes to awesome angel fans.

your argument is that ranger fans put up with his behavior when he was hitting but things didn't exactly happen that way. i don't know what's worse. hamilton's personality disorder or your need to defend him.

Not true at all. Even if it were, way more Angel's fans show up then Ranger's fans. Angel fan attendance has far outnumbered Ranger fan attendance in every year except last year since 2003. Oh and Rangers ballpark holds about 4,500 more people too. Angel's fans support their team better, you lose.

And Josh "allegedly" flipped off the fans based on a couple fans' reports so they'll just have another reason to boo him when they go back.

I was at the game and did not see it.  Josh says it did not  happen and I believe him.

I do have to say, Josh did one thing.  His boos were louder and longer than the ones Aroid gets when he comes back into town.

It's a bit disingenuous to mention attendance figures and point to the size of the park as if that's more relevant than the size of the population base. Having our team play in the LA metro area plays very heavily into our favor. Our metro area has three times the population that the Dallas-FW metro area does and packs those people in less than half the space. It's not a huge accomplishment for us to pull in more fans than them.

That's simply not true. I challenge you to find me one quote from JD saying he had an issue with that. The general thought (and it is admittedly an assumption because no one really knows) is that the Angels offered Josh a deal and said take it or leave it. They would not let him take the deal back to Texas and let them counter. That's smart business. That's exactly how I would have handled the situation. It was almost common knowldege that JD and the Rangers were not going to pay him that kind of money. So the option to take the deal back to Texas would have probably been a mute point anyway. Some misinformed Rangers fans have taken issue with him telling JD they "would have a chance to match". Daniels himself has said publically that such a conversation never happened and he had no issue with the way that went down. Fact is, if they really wanted to keep him, Texas had many chances to extend him before he was on the open market. That's on the Rangers. It wasn't worth that kind of money to the Rangers. It obviously was to LA. And there's nothing wrong with that. That's the business side of it. If you want to debate players, contracts, front offices, or baseball in general, I'll be glad to do that. But if you are just going to make things up, please find a Rangers fan as misinformed as you are. I can assure you there are plenty of them out there.
