So, now the CDC is saying it's at a 1.5-2.0 transmission rate (They don't know. They're comparing it to predicting the weather). Which means it is growing exponentially.

They're saying that unless this rate is lowered, 1.6 million cases by January. At the present 70% death rate in Africa, that's about a million deaths.

Health worker 2nd in US to test positive for Ebola

http://news.yahoo.com/state-health-officials-2nd-ebola-case-texas-102955708.html

DALLAS (AP) — A Texas health care worker who was in full protective gear while providing hospital care for an Ebola patient who later died has tested positive for the virus and is in stable condition, health officials said Sunday. If the preliminary diagnosis is confirmed, it would be the first known case of the disease being contracted or transmitted in the U.S.

Nothing to worry about though, they have it under control.

“We’re deeply concerned about this new development,” Frieden said on CBS. “I think the fact that we don’t know of a breach in protocol is concerning because clearly there was a breach in protocol. We have the ability to prevent the spread of Ebola by caring safely for patients.”

Ebola won't spread in the US because... wait, it is spreading because these arrogant jackasses at the CDC really don't know what they are dealing with. They don't know how the nurse was infected because protocols were followed and yet the disease just moved to a new host that went along their daily routine outside the hospital. Time to nuke Dallas to prevent the outbreak from spreading. Of course that is probably too late since anyone that was in contact with the nurse could be infected and may have gone to the Texans vs Dallas football game last week spreading the disease state wide.

To quote Rallymo, We're ****ed.

(Reuters) - A medical clinic outside of Boston was quarantined and a patient has been isolated outside the hospital with a possible case of Ebola, the Boston Globe reported on Sunday.

Police, fire officials and emergency medical services have arrived at the Harvard Vanguard Medical Center in Braintree, Massachusetts, Joe Zanca, with the Braintree Fire Department, told the Globe.

“Ebola protocol is in place,” Zanca said, noting that the patient in isolation recently traveled to West Africa.

Why the hell would anyone go to west Africa . Especially at a time like this.

It's time to quarantine every flight arriving from west Africa and or if it ever connected there.
