These are both funny. I love trade suggestions like this that seemingly forget that there are 28 other teams, most of whom can field a much more alluring package for the Marlins.

 

There's no way the Angels can get Stanton. I agree that a package would have to start with Richards, but we honestly don't have the top tier talent in the minors to complement him. Maybe in a year if a few players mature as hoped, but the Marlins would require some truly elite prospects which the Angels simply don't have.

You are basically getting 1.5 year of Stanton for a cheap top 10 ace level pitcher, plus a cheap outfielder that is producing at 4 war for his first full season,

That is better than any package they will get for Stanton.
