  1. Otherwise, move on Julian Merryweather for HOLD reinforced opportunity from the Cubs. The Angels ARE MOVIN!!!
  2. BRILLIANT...now throw down 750 mil on Ohtani and go after Johan Oviedo from the Pirates...SO MUCH LEVERAGE THERE!
  3. JULIAN MERRYWEATHER, RHRP, Cubs. He's been excellent and would be quite the reinforcement to the Angels bullpen.
  4. Now there's one that won't split Aces on a BlackJack hand, THAT WILL KEEP HITTING, INSTEAD...off of a 2 or 11 in hand. ALL IN!!
  5. You see, tdawg has heart, but the rest of you.. just sit back to criticize...now think about that...will you?!
  6. With 2 cards drawn as Aces, FLOP yet. THROW THAT FUCKER DOWN FOR 500 MIL (OFFER while TV pays for it) at this point, Arte, Manasian! BULLY IT!!!
  7. Manasian is forming the bridge with the bullpen end remarkably: Joyce, Bachman, Estevez, even Moore is in the 90's. Fulmer would add to a nice wrinke by his slider vs Right handed power hitters. I watched Machado against him tonight, so Judge would do the same thing, while the Cubs asking price might not be too much.
  8. Do the Angels have leverage to grab him by their all-pitchers draft 2 years ago? One could imagine, if Arte retains Ontani at a 1/2 bil salary (that TV pays for), Greene in that same rotation...well, the Angels would have more spotlight than ANY team in MLB, on reaching that. Perry Manasian, are you grabbing this?!
  9. Yeah, 'why do birds suddenly appear when you're near,' Brandon? Shaddup!! "Johan Oviedo" as the titled post opened up 4/21 (after 3 impressive starts before that, for a 25 y/o WIP - Work in Progress). Does it belong in the trade thread? The moderator hasn't bumped it over yet. I don't know, Erstad Grit!
  10. At least I stay on point. Everybody posts off point. 2 years ago every draft pick was a pitcher, some out of college, that they desperately need now up top. Any sign with any of them about to come up? Anything to change the staff complexion to throw off the opponent and get the team on a winning streak with.
  11. Fat fingers spelling, my bad. Plus, I have bad vision over small print. Oviedo still a WIP and looked great last night. Inserted into the Angels staff, they'd have a power arm mound presence to build from. The Angels aren't the only team looking at the guy.
  12. Joe Adel and Griffen Canning to the Pirates for JOHAN OVIEDO 6'5, 25 Y/O POWERBALLER...guys, FOR HIS IMPACT ON PROJECTION, now...u gotta stike the iron while its hot.
  13. Early season jitter, sawdust glitter, shake the cobwebs out...no doubt
  14. Bullpen SOS, can we pluck Harvey from them during this series, what will it take? Regardless, here's an impressive arm target (at a younger age) that Manasian might bolster the Angels pitching with this season (with Adell as the Ace-in-the-hole at this time) as PART of a deal for SP, RP, even CL (all-in-one): Johan Oviedo I've LIKED him!!
  15. Read all your posts, thank you, gents For what it was, Drury was eye-popping with the Reds last year. Then, he was traded to the Padres for their playoff run, now he's here. But, the Padres changed his role while HE WAS THE GUY in Cincinnati. Considering the matter, mental pressure displacement since the Reds...let's just keep reminding him... HE'S THE GUY HERE. For 2B the most scarce power position (and those numbers he put up in Cincinnati last year)...No role-playn, Minasian, Nevin, he's your 2B. Give it to him!
  16. Dear Brandon Drury Stop putting pressure on yourself, go back to playing for the Reds last year...play like you have nothing to lose...that's all all we want as you play for the Angels. Sincerely, HaloRed
  17. My final post, AW gets nowhere but from a goofball audience looping around themselves. 2009 - 2014. I've fired myself, amazing that I went this long for how suffocating it is in here. Thx to those that worked with me.
  18. The epitome of AW right there!!
  19. The first time was for Richter deleting my thread, Dec. 2012. This time it's for...the neverending nightmare of a hallway without an end that is with the group on this site. Prior to 2002, there was the once great Baseball Boards. Encouraged then, I engaged with fellow Halos fans by the same approach. They opened up to me without the overshadowing BS behind the group on the this site. That hasn't carried on and I'm bored with watching Goofy on a loop. Delete my profile, for good, please?! Delete my HaloThunder under Facebook and HaloRed16 tied with my registration.
  20. Oh, Shut up, Red!!! You're all going to die alone. You're arguing for disruption over discussion. How can anyone get motivated for a discussion with your PUBES getting in the way, pal?! It's YOU that shouldn't get involved!!
  21. Thx for your sympathy, JarsOfClay. But actually it's Chuck Richter, the breeder himself of this group that's the friggen joke!!
  22. BS, Eric, you're one of the disruptive yourself! I'm trying to find out how to delete my profile. Please do so for me? Thx.
  23. Nothing gets discussed, so I'm done. It doesn't matter, this post will just get deleted for the site to hide it's image for new participants anyway.
  24. ...I believe Skaggs can hold up and keep it going, great stuff, but I'm sure the front office have him to a season max IP limit like the Nats did with Strasburg... What did I say there on July 3, Lou?
