LeBron to Opt Out

Melo won't go to Miami if they are giving max deals to Bosh and Wade.... no money left. They could only do Melo if the other guys took less, same LeBron talk.

I don't get the Broussard talk, he was always straight up and said sources or rumors while saying LeBron to Cleveland about a week ago. All the LeBron porn was too much anyway.

I don't want to see Lin in a Lakers jersey.

Good for LeBron and Cleveland. Everyone loves a redemption story.

Guess I can bring out the Cleveland LeBron jersey again.

Not really. This just proves that Lebron is an opportunist that will jump ship when things start to look bleak. If Cleveland isn't contending within 2 years he'll be itching to get out of there again.

Everything lines up....roster, cap space, redemption, the story, etc.

But I think LeBron has one of the biggest egos (anyone of success from any field does) and the bigger thing is trying to fix his legacy as The Decision is still talked about and one of the biggest dbag moves in sports history. If he just goes to Miami and plays with his buddies for rings everyone gets it....When he burns his hometown and fan base, that does some serious collateral damage.

Plus, Miami hit 4 finals in 4 years. Coming back to Cleveland isn't just about fixing a mess up, it's also one of the biggest and newest challenges for him. He has nothing to prove in Miami.

Eh, I am a big Lebron hater but the dude loves Cleveland.  Think about it this way, he has a mansion on the beach in Miami and yet he still chooses to go home to Cleveland every summer.

I think he genuinely loves Cleveland and they absolutely love him there.  It makes sense.  Of course if the Cavs were garbage he would probably not have done it.  But that goes for any professional player.
