some good play tonight at times but also some real sloppy stuff.......Anaheim net minders have given up two pretty weak goals.

 

neither team here is 'playoff ready' it seems.

 

Kings need to hold on here and escape with a win.

gave Ducks a lot of chances and more chances........gotta clear that puck out of there.

 

 

oh well -- bottom line -- we go to Anaheim and pick up a point (and lose a point in the standings to the Ducks).

It was a hard game because as what someone in the comments said well, this was game 8 for the Ducks but just another game in November for the Kings. Well except for Trevor Lewis. It was real to him dammit. Great game for him. It was a really weird dynamic to watch. Funny also that Sutter preaches maintaining a constant outlook win or lose and just doing your job every game while the reporters are trying to frame the game in the exact opposite to create a compelling story.

sutter is the perfect antidote to the typical dumb reporter question. i'm glad we'll never hear him say "sometimes you just have to tip your cap and turn the page."

Kings taking it to Florida tonight -- feel bad for our old pal from Vancouver, Luongo -- Kings scored four goals in two period off him and Panthers yanked him out of the game before the start of the third period........Montoya finished up in goal.

 

now Florida scores early in the third -- Kings defense in front of the goal breaks down and Florida gets about four whacks at it to put it behind Quick.
