I'm surprised no one mentioned the possibility of implanting these 5 prisoners with RFID chips.  They could've easily put those guys to sleep and done the procedure without their knowledge.

 

My guess; it's only matter of time before all these guys are tracked down and killed.

Chances are the Taliban would know how and where to look for RFID chips, and would remove them if found.

It's nice the family gets their kid back, but I suspect there is a strong likelihood he will be court marshaled and charged with treason.  The military doesn't take kindly to deserters in the combat theater.

The 5 Taliban commanders held by the U.S. were a recruiting tool so by releasing them Al-Qaeda has fewer recruits.  Smart huh?
