Man, the slow-mo replay of that kick is just incredible.  Wow.  Same with the punch that Hall hit Leben with, right on the nose and you see it convulse his entire head.  I think both Leben and Silva are done.  

 

Good night of fights all around.  I wanted Tate to win and she put up a good fight, but Rousey showed a lot of good stuff in the fight and was ultimately the better fighter.  Her takedowns were perfect.

Yeah, Rousey's Judo was top notch.  Whatever coach told Tate to try to take down Rousey like that is an idiot.  You don't challenge an Olympic Judo medalist like that.

It was interesting that Tate said the gameplan was to stay on her feet. But she kept shooting for Roussey's legs. Roussey's judo is text book.

Only thing I can think of is Tate was hurt in the first round by those punches. Doesn't make any sense for her to shoot for Rousey's legs otherwise.

Fights were good until the main events. Glad I passed on a $100+ ticket in Vegas.

I would pay $20 to see 4 fights. But if two are good and two suck $60 is a total waste

 

Don't forget the $500 you have to spend the rest of the weekend just to go to the fight in Vegas

UFC is finally banning TRT.  Belfort withdraws from UFC 173 because of this.  Now Weidman will fight Machida.  Both fights would be a blood bath but at least Machida stands a chance.

 

Should be interesting to see how aggressive Weidman is since Machida is really passive.

I like this fight.  Not his fault at all but we haven't got to see much from Weidman yet.
