Anyone here UFC fans? I'm a big Hendo fan, love how he is usually the underdog. I hope he can pull off another upset tomorrow night.

Tomorrows card is meh.  Rousey is from So Cal so I hope she wins, that is all.  Usually get together with friends and split the cost of PPV but not for this one.

I didn't realize GSP/Diaz is next month. UFC 160 is looking stacked as well with Cain Velasquez/Antonio Silva (should be another beatdown for Cain) and JDS/Overeem as the main event/co main.

Did you see the last GSP fight, with Condit?  Yeah, GSP is usually boring but that fight was excellent.  Both guys were pounding.

 

Kinda meh about tomorrow's card.  Mild curiosity about the chick fight, mild curiosity about the rest.  I'm looking forward to the next one and to Mir wiping out Cormier.

I think Cormier beats Mir. Mir's got great great great BJJ though so it should be one hell of a ground game. 

 

I like Diaz for the fact that he just likes to fight, nothing else. He just wants to fight. GSP, I don't like him at all. I'll give him credit, I just don't like him.

Fitch is more boring than GSP. which is why he was let go.

 

As for this card, I will most likely go to BWW's and run up a $20 beer tab while watching the fights. No cover charge out here.

I have a BWW a mile from me that won't show it.   I'd have to go to the one 9 miles away.

 

Not worth it.    I find it online when I really care.   But a big beer sounds good right now Boom.

That is on my list of things to do this weekend Jeff. I plan to start a new standings thread. I'm only 2 games behind at the moment. Should have it ready in time for the Dallas game Sunday.

 

As for BWW's. that Lake Forest one charges $5 at the door. Cool manager there though. If you become a regular there he takes care of you. I don't think I paid full price for a beer the entire football season last year.

Kos got knocked pretty good while on the ground. He was never out tho. But he was stuck against the fence and getting pounded on.

That was a damn good fight. The main event was good too.

I wish Machida had lost. He spent the whole fight avoiding Hendo.

It actually ended with :10 seconds left in the 1st round and it was fight of the night.

Misread the time situation. Ending seconds of 1st round. I have a hard time believing that it came close to Grice vs Bermudez. That fight was insane.

It was a great back and forth struggle. The crowd was going crazy the entire fight. Disappointed with the Hendo Machida fight.
