"Believes he'll be ready by opening day."  Let me run that through my Angels Talk to English translator and see what we get...beep boop beep beep boop bop beep...OK, here we go: "As I am a reliever on the Angels with an arm injury, I will attempt to come back a week before the season starts and do such damage to my arm that I'll be out the rest of the season."

It is great news.  I love how some people were ready to release the guy because he had two bad spring outings (despite having given the team 72 innings of 132 ERA+ relief last year).
