While police are supplied with firearms, it's difficult for them to obtain nonlethal weapons. Officers must complete crisis intervention training before they can get an electronic control weapon, such as a Taser. The report also says the department's current guidelines are not clear enough on when electronic control weapons should be used.

 

Maybe they should be issued mace and a Tazer first then after a two year probation period and extensive training allowed a weapon that causes lethal damage. Start them off not willing to pull a gun and pull a trigger first rather than start with less lethal means.

 

Then again the previous article you posted the officer stunned the guy so he was easier to shoot in the back while laying on the ground.

Here the cops use a 20 year old busted for marijuana as an informant.  Kid ends up dead at the bottom of a river.  Cops say "oh well, he knew what he was getting into".

Here's my "impassioned speech"...

 

This guy is done.  He'd better be convicted.  The evidence is there.

-Shoots guy running away, then takes a quick look to see if anyone's watching.  But, he's now too amped to notice the videographer.

-NO attempt at life-saving/first-aid.  Instead, he walks back to pick-up his taser...

-Which he then obviously attempts to plant near the person.

-Another cop pulls him away, then it looks like they are switching handguns.  Why?  We maintain possession until Investigators take possession for evidence/testing purposes.

-His first statements were that he was in fear for his life... But the guy is running away, empty-handed.

 

The gentleman shot is the Victim.  The officer must be held accountable for this incident.  It's very clear-cut.

If cops were honest, you'd think he wouldn't have to balls to brazenly manipulate the evidence in front of the other cop.  But since apparently every cop will lie for another, its no big deal.

He has not once sided with an officer caught in wrongdoing. He has also not once condemned one without the facts. I mean, what do you want LB to do other than join the witch hunt?

This is the whole point.  We all understand that amongst the thousands and thousand of officers there are going to be some idiots, that is just life.  It is the ones that help to foster those losers, complicit or not.

Yeah, this is where the 'few bad apples' goes out the door.  The second cop watches the murdering cop drop the tazer on the dying body to create the made-believe narrative ("my life was in danger"). 

 

Cell phone videos are exposing cops for what they are: a terrorist organization.  Al Qaeda would be proud.
