I'll be paying attention to Skaggs and the minor league guys. I will also pay attention to who Skaggs is getting out later in spring. I will look to see if there is any more sense of urgency or importance in Spring Training. I really want to see this team get out of the gate and play well in April, hopefully a few games over .500 the first month.

I want to see freeze play well from the start. Getting out of the gate in regular season is a must. The thin rotation suggests that everything has to go perfect forus to make playoffs. Not a lot of wiggle room.

You know that Dipoto will be very interested in Blanton this spring . I think JB will definitely be competing for a spot in the rotation.

I am concerned that we have too many pieces that the coaches will want to see in spring training so our line up will be set late. I want to see our regulars get 3 innings as much as possible.
