Just as long as it's not another piddling 5% raise, I'm cool.

That can't look good in the long run.   Even giving him a raise to just $1.5 million at least immediately recognizes his 2012 and 2013 seasons.

in 2008 kershaw made the league minimum.

in 2009, he got it again

in 2010, he got a 10% raise

in 2011, he got another 10% raise

he won a cy young and got 7.5mil in arb

the next year (last year), he got 11mil.

he just signed a 7yr contract for 30mil/yr.

don't sweat it.

That was when McCheap owned the Doyers. New owners, I have a feeling if Magic and company were in charge back then, Kershaw would have made more money and if McCheap were still the owner Kershaw would be a Yankee next year.

You're going to gloat about us signing a pitcher? Okay then..... You don't get out much do you?

You haven't been reading this board much lately huh?  Tdawg wrote the longest post I ever read about why we won't sign Tanaka.  Honestly most people on here don't feel it as "possible".   A select few including myself know this signing with the Angels is going to happen.

Honestly I wouldn't have made it into such a big deal if certain people wouldn't have gone out of their way to "guarantee" the Angels not signing Tanaka.

All in good fun.   It is the off season.  You got to add some drama here.

so what you're saying is that all Trout needs to do is win a cy young and he can expect his first real payday. seems like that ought to be a good motivator for him.

Tanaka all the way.   Yankees are out.  Wife wants west coast for her career.  Dodgers just inked Kershaw.   Angel 100%  just like I have been saying since last year.

100%

Sorry tdawg looks more and more like you were completely DEAD Wrong.

San Francisco is on the West Coast and they are $50 million under the salary cap. It looks like your fanboy obsession just may blowfish up in your face.

I wonder how much the runner-up in the Cy Young voting signed for?

I'm just going to start deleting all of your troll like posts.

Rather than abuse your power, use he posts as an exercise in patience. Or just simply put him on ignore.

To quote tdawg you got the beach ball boppers who pretty much think we aren't going to sign Tanaka for (enter ludicrous reason here).  Then you got the analytical fan who breaks it down to exactly why we are going to sign him.

this should be added to the top dumbest posts of aw history.
