It was actually to limit the abuse of the system that was happening and close a few of the rx loopholes.  It would have lowered premiums a lot and driven up competition.

Anyway, bankers and doctors are the richest people in this country, so just like there will never be banking reform, there will also never be true cost of care reform, but they the doctors lobby owns all of DC.

The abuse is by far the biggest reason that Obamacare premiums were so high, the risk pool was shit and the incoming premium wasn't there.

You have to underwrite a policy as if you are only going to receive a couple months of premium rather than a full year.

I am more referring to the literal cost of care and the cost of drugs.  Not premiums.

Premiums are driven by cost of care.

there is a lot of information out there on what drives costs...and a lot of it has to do with how we expect to receive care.

Collins and Paul are currently the no votes. I don't think Murkowski has weighed in....interestingly enough they've tried to "bribe" her to vote for the bill to repeal Obamacare...by making Alaska exempt from the repeal of Obamacare...
