I guess I'll pass on making a trip down to SF in December to see my Seahawks thump the 9ers.

It's a mix of wanna be thugs and old time wine drinkers there. If you got good seats behind the visitor bench you would be fine, but that would cost an arm and a leg, especially since the stick in closing this year. I've been to a handful of games there (as a Niner fan) and haven't seen any serious issues. I wouldn't sit in the nosebleeds as a seahawk fan though.

ive been to a million giants games, always a blast.

but only ever seen fisticuffs when the dodgers are in town.

niners games are fun.

never had an issue there either, but yeah the park itself is old and sucks.

Ten years ago, my brother and I were in a section surrounded by a bunch of Mexican mafia types causing trouble and making people feel uncomfortable. The ushers just stood there and did nothing. We moved to the upper deck and watched Bonds go 0-2 with three walks. That's the only time I've been at AT&T.

went to half a dozen dodgers-giants game at candlestink when i was a college student. worst fans i've ever encountered. they were very aggressive towards dodgers fans, and the people i was with were usually uncomfortable enough to leave their dodger gear at home or wear it and just completely shut up so they didn't piss off anyone. the dodgers being in town only seemed to bring out the worst in giants fans. i have no use for them. they're just a cut above raiders fans in my book.

The guy who died aas the son of a security team member at dodger stadium. If it means anything, he was attacked blocks away from the stadium by people who didn't attend the game

my oldest son is a Dodger fan and my husband absolutely refuses to take him to any more games. Last game he went to (summer before Bryan Stowe) he said it was bad in the parking lot.. just trying to leave. 

 

I have also been around some too drunk at Angels games.  Its going to come down to either no tailgating or no alcohol in the parks. - both of which I would be upset over.

 

Sadly, behavior like that -  fighting at sporting events is becoming the norm

Prayers and thoughts are with this guys family and friends. Sports should be just that sports, no one should be losing their life because they root for a certain team. People take their "fandom" to the extreme and thats really tragic.
