I am kind of curious, since so many have bit**** about Hamilton batting 3rd this game, who should have batted 3rd?

Trumbo?????  Yea, half the people on this board thinks he sucks!

Aybar?  Shuck?  Nelson?  Green?  Ianetta?

It can't be Howie or Pujols...so who should have batted 3rd?

Trout.

Shuck, Calhoun, Trout, 1-2-3

Aybar. And I'm 100% serious. I'm sick of watching Iannetta and Hamilton every night.

But on a good note I love Calhoun and Trout

real eazzie...Trout, the best hitter on the team

put some of the kids that are TRYING to play hard in front of him

infinitely preferable to watching Hamilton stink up the 3rd spot like Abreu did

Considering he is a 125 million dollar investment and was an all star five consecutive years, and we have him for another four years....HELL YES....it makes sense.  It is in the best interest of the team to have Hamilton play out of his slump than to give up on him.

What is funny is you don't see that logic.  But again, many on this board really doesn't understand sports.  Quite frankly, the proper strategy is to hope your stud returns to form instead of going with someone is isn't any good.

"What is funny is you don't see that logic."

What I see as "logical" is that this guy should be sitting and watching players with desire,  playing the game like they have some respect for the game.

Sorry my logic doesn't match yours, or Scioscia's, and it never will.

so we weaken the #2 spot so we can be stronger at the 3 spot????

Plus please do not remind me about Abreu.  That is one thing I hated about Scioscia was constantly staying with Abreu his third season.
