I absolutely hate posts like this.  Nevin getting let go does not mean that Minasian and Arte blame Nevin for the bad year, and it also doesn’t mean they think they themselves are free of blame.

It means they believe they they can replace Nevin with a better manager.

Since Nevin is gone, get rid of all the coaches as well.  Might as well start with a clean slate.  And dump the training staff, start over from scratch.  Above all please don't cheap out on anything Arte!  Don't get a rookie MLB manager, get someone with experience and who has a track record of success.

I have zero confidence in Arte or Perry making that decision. Four managers in 6 years seems someone is making bad decisions. Let new manager go thru all the injuries that happened this year.

Who might that manager be? Arte is not going to pay someone with a 5 year deal. He wants to go cheap just like the GM position.

Whatever.  The team thinks they can hire a better manager for 2024, and nothing Nevin did provides any argument to the contrary.
