Which players get claimed off waivers tomorrow?

The players on waivers, and what they’re owed the remainder of the season:

Lucas Giolito: $1.7M

Randal Grichuk: $1.7M

Dominic Leone: $120k

Reynaldo López: $0.6M

Matt Moore: $1.3M

Hunter Renfroe: $2M

I think only Giolito, López, and Moore get claimed.

$1.7M-$2M is kinda a lot this late in the season for two non-difference makers in Renfroe and Grichuk.

Leone is bad and out of options.

I don't think that is true because he would be a free agent if they did that. It's not like the old waivers.

As I and several others have pointed out in various threads in the past couple of days, that's not how it works.  It's not the same as DFA'ing someone.  If someone doesn't get claimed on waivers, they stay with the original team.

It is many teams put players on waivers all year long. Nobody claimed him and they pulled him off waivers.

i think the bullpen guys get claimed. 

renfroe is awful and no one needs that kind of anchor over the last month.

giolito has been terrible. someone might take him and hope for catching lightning in a bottle for september.

grichuk will get claimed right after i get claimed.
