That was an entertaining game, too bad it was on the west coast.  MVP candidates going head to head, Acuna with the grand slam to go 30-60, and then Mookie follows that up with two homers of his own, one right over Acuna in right.

this isn't a physical thing, but I remember that he announced his divorce mid-season... so maybe that's affecting him mentally.

Schwarber hit his 40th HR today.  With Ohtani's power slump and today's injury, plus Olson coming back down to earth, Schwarber could slip in there and lead the majors.  Alonso hit 3 in a game recently, but Schwarber has been pretty consistently hitting HRs for a month now (4 in his last 7 games, 8 in his last 15, 13 in his last 30).

for the season he has 40 homers and 39 singles.
