The Braves have eight qualifying batters, and a ninth with 434 PA. Meanwhile they only have 14 batters with at least 50 PA -- meaning, they're having to use very few scrubs to fill in plate appearances. Of those 14 batters, only one has negative WAR (-0.7).

The Angels have three qualifying batters and 26 batters with at least 50 PA. Of those 26, seven have negative WAR (-3.3 total).

The Angels haven't had more than four qualifying batters since 2014, their last playoff appearance when they had six. To get to eight qualifiers you have to go back to 2012.

This is a subtle way to say the Angels have sucked dank crackhole for quite some time.

Curt Schilling recently revealed his and his wife's diagnosis, but I don't think when they were diagnosed has been out in public.

Curt Schilling controversy

On September 28th, Schilling made an announcement on a podcast about what Wakefield was going through, while also stating that Stacy, Wakefield's wife was also enduring cancer treatment for pancreatic cancer.

The controversy came about when they did not give permission for Schilling to disclose any medical information about their condition.

Wakefield is survived by his wife Stacy, his son Trevor, and daughter Brianna.

Eppler and Dipoto both making news. 

JD has a bit of a controversy going on in Seattle after he essentially said the team had done the fans a favor or that fans were lucky that they didn't go into GO FOR IT MODE...  this after their catcher called the team out then apologized for it.

Long story short, people are complaining it's been 8 years, they have made the post-season once and that they were told the team would go for it when they had the foundation in place.

I mean, they signed Rodriguez long term, traded for and extended Castillo and signed a reigning AL Cy Young to a long term deal, it's not like they have been sitting on their hands.

Fans gonna fan.
