This might be bad take, but despite his struggles, Cody Bellinger might be a good fit for the Angels. He might need a change in scenery plus he can the outfield and 1B.

Would anyone be open to taking a chance on him?

I go back and forth. 

He's incredibly young with a lot of playoff experience.  26 is fairly quick to give up on an MVP.

He's been baaaaaad for 2 years now.  Not a half a season or a long stretch,  2 years.  You can even see signs of it during the second half of his MVP year. 

I guess I don't have the confidence in our organization to fix him, but I think he deserves another shot somewhere,  and that team might be incredibly rewarded.

If Dodgers do not tender him a contract but where do you play him. CF Trout is there 1B with Walsh. If he becomes a free agent, he will go somewhere he can play.

Between the two, Bellinger is a safer bet to at least be average. I think he'd be an interesting pick up

Caroline O'Connor didn't know what her ceiling was when she entered the sports business world, simply because there were so few examples of women who traveled her path.

Turns out, she had no limit.

The Miami Marlins promoted O'Connor to president of business operations on Monday, making them the first U.S. major sports franchise to have women serving simultaneously as president and general manager. The Marlins made history by hiring Kim Ng as GM in November 2020; two years later, they've made another significant move.

O'Connor is just the second woman to serve as president of a Major League Baseball team; Seattle's Catie Griggs is the other. O'Connor was brought to the Marlins by then-CEO Derek Jeter in 2017 as a senior vice president and chief of staff, then became the team's chief operating officer in 2019.

Ng handles the on-field business, O'Connor runs the off-field business.

that should give you guidance on whether or not to sign bellinger.

He meant from a health standpoint in 2023.
