I don't think many of you understand Bellinger's status.

If Dodgers keep him he will be an 18 million dollar Dodger and they won't be trading him.

If Dodgers let him walk he's a FA.

No one is trading for Bellinger.

No one, except the Dodgers, is required to pay 18 million for him. Even the Dodgers could non tender him and negotiate a contract.

I'm fine with thinking Bellinger is done, but saying we would have to trade for him or that he costs 18 million are both inaccurate.

Holy crap!

He improved in the KBO and had some big hits in the playoffs.  I read some articles that a MLB team would probably take a chance on him again.

Bench coach and beer tender. Very important roles for any big league club.
