Telling Rendon to fuck off is pointless since he's fucked off on his own. Limp wrist here, hurt hip, and other random injuries that old people get.

I think you can pencil in another slot for an in-house option: Canning, Suarez, Silseth, maybe Bush and other AA/AAA guys, plus depth beyond the top 6 would come from these guys.  

That means 2 free agents/trades: Lorenzen and Syndergaard, possibly. But there are some decent free agent options, with Musgrove probably getting the biggest contract. Eovaldi will be 33 but has been healthy for awhile; Clevinger might be worth a reunion flyer; Jameson Taillon; etc.

So same story trying to fill pitching holes with FA. Problem with that many other teams will be after same pitchers. If Ohtani does not sign an extension I think you trade him. Also many pitchers do not want to be in 6 man rotation. I would hope they start to develop from within. Besides pitching need middle INF at least 1 OF. When I look at tonights lineup after top 3 is really sad.

All I can say is I hope Rendon is ready to go next year and is finally fully healthy. Maybe he has 1-2 good years left in him.

Glad we signed Duffy. He's not great, but he's at least average.

We either go on a 13-2 run or we trade Noah, Lorenz, and maybe some other guys and try again. 

It sucks.

I don’t think Ward is the best at 3B, but he can’t be worse than Duffy.
