I think the lesson learned here is, you can aggressively promote from one MiLB level to the next, BUT, big but, you can’t promote pitchers to the majors with only a couple of handfuls of MiLB starts.

Detmers and Silseth show the promise, but they were promoted to the majors too soon.

I think this might be his best bet to actually get to pitch. Especially now since our starters can't go more than 4 innings anymore.
