This is why I have a hard time seeing this team not being a bad defensive one again this season. Very few good defenders on the roster as a whole as it is, then add in their manager shuffling guys all over the field without a care in the world. Hopefully their rotation and backend of the pen improvements are real because the pitching won't be getting much help from their defense

He was headed toward 2B because the runner was going and he was out of position because it was a hit and run. That's why he hasn't got an error, although he still stinks

I'm not sold on Detmers - he looks like batting practice every time I've seen him. I'm wondering if he turns out to be another Heaney: looks good often enough to keep you interested with good peripherals, but gets hit hard a lot. A #4, in other words.
